Walmart store managers were using a collection of spreadsheets to cross reference the work that needed to be completed that day. Using the technology that store associates carry around for price changes and other tasks while on the store floor, we created an application to run off an android device to receive this data in an organized and readable manner. This application allows store managers to assign tasks and verify that tasks are complete. With the ability for tasks to be in a variation of different states along the process, the challenge was to display the information to the store manager in a way that would be easily understandable upon a quick glance.
