About
About
Tishman Speyer, a global real estate company headquartered in New York City, owns iconic properties like Rockefeller Plaza and the Chrysler Building. To cater to the evolving demand for office space, they launched Studio, providing flexible leasing options for companies, entrepreneurs, and professionals. Taking their existing brochureware website and transforming it into a fully bookable commerce experience, allowed anyone to book spaces as small as a hot desk for the day to entire full floor office leases. Showcasing these exceptional spaces with beautiful inspirational imagery, including live availability details, and ensuring intuitive payment processes for a prospective visitor to book, visit, and manage guests for Studio spaces across USA and Brazil.

Challenge
Challenge
Tishman Speyer wanted to evolve their brochureware real estate site into a scalable, transactional platform that allowed anyone—from startup founders to enterprise execs—to discover, browse, and book spaces ranging from hot desks to full-floor office suites. The experience needed to be mobile-friendly, visually aspirational, and ready to launch with their landmark new property, The Spiral.

Collaborated with Product and Project teams to define MVP scope, working against tight timelines for the launch of The Spiral. Our roadmap focused on grouping key features like flexible search, guest management, and mobile payments, balancing user needs with legacy system constraints. Development challenges tied to API and building security integrations influenced phased release planning.

Insights
Insights
Conducted stakeholder interviews with the global brand team at Tishman Speyer to align on goals, audience expectations, and brand aspirations. Since this tool was opening up booking to a broader public audience (beyond members), we leaned into storytelling and aspirational design rather than optimizing for speed of booking. Our insights shaped a balance between ecommerce utility and brand expression.
